What works well in a Warhol Style?
Clear, detailed close up photos in good lighting make for the best designs. The better quality your image the clearer and more detailed we can make your canvas.
Also remember that the Warhol style is often very flattering, especially for women. If you are a man looking for a gift for a female we would recommend this style - you'll get lots of brownie points!
Adding in more than one photo to your design
We are more than happy to work with several different photos for your Warhol pop art portrait. This can work out really well for the four panel configuration where you can have two photos, a wedding couple for example, in a boy-girl-boy-girl setup. Looks great and makes a prefect present for someone who has everything.
As we have to create new artwork for each separate photo there is a £20 additional charge per extra photo/person.
How do we make the designs?
Through hard work and craftmanship mostly. You'll find many people online saying it's easy to make Warhol style images. Normally these people will play around with a few photoshop effects and say anyone can do it. What they don't tell you is that messing around with photoshop doesn't make for a great piece of art. It's a bit like saying anyone can paint. Well yes they can but they are unlikely to create the next Mona Lisa!
We use a whole range of professional editing software as well as resorting to good old fashioned hand drawing to create your designs. They are sharp, professionally finished by trained graphic artists and look better in real life than they do on your screen.
